Reclaim Intimacy, Redefine Connection, Rediscover Yourself
Empowering Cancer Survivors to Embrace Intimacy, Confidence, and Joy.
When you think about melons, you expect them to have seeds. A seedless melon seems… different, unexpected. That’s how life feels after cancer. Treatments alter your body, energy, and how you experience connection. What was once normal—touch, pleasure, intimacy, coffee dates with friends, yoga classes, and even work—may feel foreign.
But different doesn’t mean broken. At Seedless Melons, we help cancer survivors redefine intimacy in all its forms—physical, emotional, sensual, and spiritual. Whether it’s reconnecting with a partner, rediscovering yourself, or simply feeling at home in your body again, we’re here to guide the journey. Through coaching, education, and advocacy, we create safe spaces to explore intimacy beyond survival. Because you are whole—even without the seeds.
About Me
From Survival to Purpose: A Woman’s Journey Through Cancer and Rebirth
In November 2022, my life changed with a single word: lymphoma. As a nurse for over a decade, I had spent years caring for patients, but suddenly, I found myself on the other side—hooked up to IV lines, facing chemotherapy, yet still clocking into 12-hour shifts. I refused to let cancer define me.
Through the crushing exhaustion, the nausea, the relentless battle between patient and provider, I kept going. I fought. And I won. By mid-2023, I was in remission.
But just when I thought I had conquered the storm, another wave hit.
In July 2023, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The news shattered me, but I had no time to break. I was a wife, a mother to two young boys, and still, a nurse. I had people depending on me—not just my patients, but my family.
In November 2023, I underwent a bilateral mastectomy. It was supposed to be my first step toward living cancer free and preventing remission, but instead, it led to complications that tested my limits beyond anything I had ever known. My body felt like a battleground, my spirit frayed—but I kept fighting.
Then came chemotherapy. Another war to wage. As they say – “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”
And when I thought I could finally breathe, in June 2024, I faced yet another surgery: a hysterectomy—a final step in reclaiming my life from the grips of cancer.
Through it all, I’ve juggled the roles of mother, wife, nurse, friend, daughter, sister, aunt, volunteer, warrior—and now, something even greater: a founder, coach, educator, and advocate.
I have walked through the fire, and I refuse to let that fire burn out without igniting something bigger. That’s why I’ve founded Seedless Melons—to create a space where cancer warriors and survivors can reclaim their bodies, intimacy, and power and thrive.
Cancer tried to take everything. Instead, it gave me purpose.
